Finally! Permission to live in a man's world as an equal. While I was at Onewildcard, we created the Gender Permit, a [satirrical] life equivalent of a work permit for females. This was in line with the 2020 International Women's Day theme #EachforEqual. The message behind its existence [that women shouldn’t have to do the extreme to be treated equally and fairly] will help push the gender equality cause closer to its goal.
I was tasked with designing the product and the testimonials video & images. The icon was created to resemble a male phalange, seeing as that's the main physical difference in both genders.
The product itself was then printed and distributed to a select group of women who have been at the forefront for the fight against gender inequality.
Now imagine if this is how far we had to go just to have equal gender rights.
